Open House was founded in Dundee in 1990. It is rooted in the reforms of the Second Vatican Council and remains committed to the dialogue which began at the Council – with other churches, other faiths, and the secular world.
It is produced in partnership with Xaverian Missionaries UK.
Open House is published six times a year with features on religion and current affairs, and reviews of books and the arts. We do not pay contributors, but we do have a small fund which allows us to pay young people for articles.
We are deeply grateful to those who support Open House with their donations and subscriptions, which cover the cost of design and production, and to all our contributors, who share their insights and expertise so generously through the forum of Open House.
